Hi! I think this is a really great idea! I am interested in knowing what mistakes small business owners feel that they have made in their businesses, what they learned and how they remedied their errors.
I think I underestimated my potential clients' abilities to take a hint, by being too pushy or too agressive in my marketing encounters. I'm working on it!
Here are my two major mistakes. My mistake number one was not to save and to keep spending all profits I was making. I assumed that “good times” would continue forever. The other one was to assume that the orders would keep coming without my additional efforts. One has to keep improving. What is competitive today may not be tomorrow.
My mistake was that I did not start a good and regular marketing program. I know that marketing does not produce immediate sales. What I was missing was that it creates awareness of what you offer and may result in a transaction later on.
Don't hestitate and go for it. Start your internet business. Don't warry about mistakes. Concentrate on achievements.
